CVR began as a small gathering of like-minded individuals in November 2016. We met for the first time as Cumberland Valley Rising on December 18, 2016.

Does it cost anything to become a member of CVR?

No. CVR membership is free. To become a member, you must provide us with your name and a valid email address. To be an active member, you must attend half of our meetings throughout the year.

​Do you have information available to help me make phone calls to my legislators?

The policy, education, & community advocacy committee of CVR works to identify issues we should be contacting our legislators about. This information will be sent around in the CVR newsletter. To find your legislators, check out our government resources. To find scripts for calling, we recommend the scripts put together by the 65 (formerly the "We're his problem now" calling sheet).
